Student Leave & Attendance Policy
No leave is granted without prior written application from parents or guardians and only for serious reasons. Parents must write the leave application themselves (Punjabi/Hindi/English).
Students returning after contagious or infectious diseases must produce a doctor's certificate. Failure to do so may result in being barred from the classroom until required documents are submitted.
All students must attend school on reopening day after vacations. Students of Std. VI–X returning late will be fined Rs. 20 per day.
Absence due to sickness requires a medical certificate. Absence beyond 15 class days may lead to removal from rolls. Re-admission requires payment of Rs. 5000/-.
Students absent for an entire term will not be readmitted in the same academic year. They may appear for an entrance exam next year, subject to vacancy.
Long leaves for going abroad are not permitted. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for examinations.
Doctor or dentist appointments must not be scheduled during school hours.
